Kristin Kane, AMFT

My clinical journey is rooted in providing trauma-informed care for individuals experiencing complex life challenges. My background includes working in community and non-profit settings with teens, children, young adults, and families. I have supported clients who are living with various mental health diagnoses, navigating crises, processing trauma, working through life transitions and managing relational conflict. I have a deep passion for working with these populations as they take the courageous steps to self-reflect and heal.

At the core of my practice is the belief that healing begins with safety. I lead with compassion, building a genuine and strong therapeutic relationship where clients can be vulnerable and fully accepted. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, tailoring my approach to fit each client’s unique needs. Together, we will work to reshape overwhelming thought patterns and gently untangle the underlying beliefs that can trigger anxiety, shame or self-doubt. Our work will focus on finding tools that will help with managing stress, understanding emotions, and finding mindfulness in the chaos that life can bring. My goal as a therapist is to help you navigate life challenges so you can emerge with a deeper sense of clarity, self-acceptance, and the confidence to unpack past experiences as you step into the present moment and the future.

Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym and grabbing dinner with my friends and family. My favorite place to be is in nature, where I often horseback ride in the mountains or relax at the beach. I also love cozying up with a good book alongside my cat.

I am under the supervision of Susan Soderman, LMFT.
