Autumn LaTour, LMFT #126135

I focus on supporting clients in taking ownership of their lives. My therapeutic approach emphasizes the role of creating meaning through personal responsibility while also meeting clients where they are at. Many people get lost in repeating patterns that may not be serving them. I will help you create the insight around any patterns that no longer serve you, while supporting you in taking specific steps towards change to actualize your purpose. Through an empathic yet direct approach, I will help you poke holes in the negative stories you may be telling yourself to make room for other types of thoughts that embody gratitude and possibility.

I graduated from University of California, Santa Barbara in 2016 and received my Master's of Science in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State, University Northridge in 2018. I have over seven years of clinical experience treating adults, families, and children. I offer parent coaching to support children with developmental and behavioral issues as well as individual therapy for adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, and family conflict.

I utilize trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and family systems with clients. I view the presenting problems of clients from a systemic and trauma informed lens in order to support individuals and their relationships, fostering an environment of acceptance and care.

In my free time I enjoy exercising, going to the beach, finding the best boba, making matcha lattes, and connecting with new cultures through food!
